Salam!

I hold an MA in Philosophy from Simon Fraser University, an MA in Philosophy from The American University in Cairo, an MSc in Economics from Queen Mary University of London, and a BSc in Economics from Loughborough University.

I am interested in almost every philosophical topic—with very few exceptions (ascetics might be one of them!). More formally, my research interests include the philosophy of logic, Islamicate philosophy, philosophy of AI, the history of analytic philosophy, epistemology, metaphysics, and the philosophy of science.

I am also active in public philosophy and community engagement. I co-founded the Middle East Society for Analytic Philosophy and have participated in outreach initiatives such as FASS in Class, where I engaged with high-school students across Metro Vancouver on questions in morality, politics, and critical thinking.
